The Lord Of The Flies

I personally did not really enjoy this book. The concept of kids stranded on a deserted island, without adults to help them was a very interesting concept, but I felt that many parts of the book seemed to drag and feel a little boring.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Ersatz Elevator
by Lemony Snicket

View in Library Catalog

"The Ersatz Elevator" is the sixth installment in the "A Series if Unfortunate Events" series. In this novel, three orphans, the Baudelaire children, are now left under the care of affluent guardians. Of course, as per usual, the vile and heinous Count Olaf never seems to lose pertinacity as he's still on the endeavor of procuring the Baudelaire's money. This book is quite different from the other books in this series as there are far more villains and an even more intense plot. This is unequivocally a page-turner! I prodigiously recommend this novel due to the charming protagonists and beautiful writing style!

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief
by Rick Riordan

This book follows a boy named Percy who unprecedentedly arrives to an area known as Camp Half-Blood. Here, he unearths an incredible secret: he is a demi-god. This book has a solid plot and marvelously crafted characters. However, this book isn't my particular cup of tea. If you are a fan of fantasy, I unreservedly recommend this!

I liked this book because I love animals. It was very long for me. I learned about what animals eat.
